catch up

Things have been busy and it has been a while since I sat to think about all that has happened..... first.... Jake (the new dog) has been very sick. He wouldn't let me catch him to take him to the vet. I finally caught him and the vet said he has Parvo :( The vet kept him and he is getting IV treatments....... he is so pitiful

The family and I went to the Home and Garden Show in Rainsville today to help work a fundraiser for our church. The weather was beautiful so we enjoyed being outside.

We have just begun the last nine weeks of the school year!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited... only 40 more days of school..... hard to believe!

I went to Carissa's to cook for the family after she came home with the baby.... Camryn had a good check up at the doctor. Carissa is feeling better, but still needs prayers. She is doing such a great job as a new mommy!

Baby Ava is simply beautiful and has the sweetest smile....... Farrah is such a great mom....

I am so thankful to have such a wonderful family........

Hubby is back at work full time..... even though the doctor said he was just to do half days for a while..... he doesn't listen very well sometimes :) The first week was hard. His foot was swollen pretty bad. It is much better this weekend. Hubby is doing so wonderful..... I want to give God all the praise for hubby's healing!!!!!!!!!!

Carissa had to have a c- section but mom and baby are great! Camryn Michelle White was 7 pounds 1 ounce and 20 inches long. She was born around 6:00 p.m. I will post some pictures as soon as I can.

The doctor is going to induce Carissa in the morning (3/11/09) so pray for her labor to be easy and Camryn to be healthy..... I will keep you posted!

I want to ask everyone to pray for my cousin Carissa. Her blood pressure was high so they kept her at the hospital today and they may induce her. We are still waiting to hear from the doctor. Please pray for her and baby Camryn to be safe and healthy! I will keep you posted!

new one

My hubby has been wanting another dog that could be inside or out. He wanted one that could go walking with him, play with the kids, and protect the kids while they are playing outside. Well he found one! He named him Jake. He is lab and golden retriever mixed.. he is beautiful.... I will upload some pictures hopefully tomorrow. He is only 7 months old and he is already huge!!!!!! It is so funny to watch him act like a puppy but be so big !!!!!

Hubby officially goes back to work Monday morning. He is supposed to only go back half days until his next doctors appointment. I ask for your prayers as he drives back and forth from Huntsville. Pray for his continued healing and safety... thanks!!!

For those that don't know already hubby and I have been trying to have a baby for quite a while. I went to a specialist and I have a condition that keeps me from ovulating regularly. I go to the doctor tomorrow for a scan of my tubes to make sure they are not clogged up. I have been taking medicine to make me ovulate but no luck yet. I ask that you pray that my tubes are clear and that I am able to get pregnant....both Big T and TG keep asking "when are we going to get a baby." Funniest thing is Big T wants a boy and TG wants a girl... today TG said " I am going to pray for twins!" OMGoodness I am not sure about that one! But I do ask for your continued prayers for a blessing of a child for our family.

Well if you do not have kids in school or day care then you are probably are not aware that Monday was Dr. Seuss' birthday!!!! This means fun fun at school! Monday was pajama day and we showed the movie "Horton Hears a Who" to all the kids. Today the kids were to dress up like "The Cat in the Hat," Wednesday we will be having green eggs and ham for lunch (this one I am not so excited about! LOL) Thursday is crazy hat and sock day, and Friday the kids are to wear either Auburn or Alabama. We also hold a coloring/drawing contest of a Dr. Seuss character and read as many Dr. Seuss books aloud to the kids! This week is such fun!!!! I get so tickled at my fourth graders so note to all you parents: KIDS LOVE FOR SOMEONE TO READ ALOUD TO THEM!
